Archery Camps 2016

Archery Camps utilizing the USA Archery Explore Archery Program-

Explore Archery is an innovative program developed by USA Archery focused on introducing beginners of all ages and abilities to the lifelong sport of target archery.  This program offers a fun, rewarding, progressive and safe environment.

  • Fun, Exciting and Challenging Activities
  • Learn fundamental skills
  • Students will earn up to 5 achievement awards through active participation in individual and team building activities that require fundamental skills, competitive edge and creativity.

Awards include: Range Safety, Equipment, Shooting Form, Shot Execution and Scoring

  • No Limits Archery Camps: are intended for any JOAD member, student considering becoming a JOAD team member or any student who is interested in taking their archery skills to a higher level.

Camp Option 1:

  • Weekly Day Camp-Friday’s for 2 weeks June 10th & 17th
  • 1 Day per week for 2 week duration

This 2 week camp is based on one 7 hour session per week for 2 consecutive weeks and will meet Friday June 10th and 17th from 9am-4pm.  Students who complete the 2 week camp will earn a maximum of 3-5 Explore Archery awards.

Camp Fee: $125.00


Camp Option 2:

1 Week Camps will run Monday thru Thursday for a one week duration.  This one-week camp is based on one 7 hour session for four days in a row.  Students who complete the one-week camp will earn all five Explore Archery Awards.

Camp A: June 6th thru June 9th (Monday thru Thursday)
Camp B: June 13th thru June 16th (Monday thru Thursday)

Camp Fee: $250.00


Camp Option 3:

Add Friday to either Camp A or B (June 10th or 17th) for $50 additional for a total camp of 5 days. Students who complete this one-week camp will earn all five Explore Archery Awards & an Athlete Award.

Camp Fee: $300.00

What are the age restrictions for this camp?
Following our JOAD requirements, kids must be between 8 and 18 years old.

*Taking breaks is essential for muscle development and minimization of muscle strain and fatigue.

I am unavailable to drop off/pick up my child in the morning/afternoon. Is after-hours supervision available? Sorry, we are unable to provide after-hours supervision for campers.

What is your cancellation/refund policy?  Please be sure that your child will be able to attend camp before registering. If you must cancel your registration, please notify us as soon as possible via email. You will receive a full refund of your $100 deposit if you cancel at least 30 days prior to the start of the camp for which your child is registered. Keep in mind that camp space is limited, so if you later change your mind and sign up again, we cannot guarantee that spots will still be available.


What if my child does not have a bow or equipment?

Bow and equipment can be rented for $5/day.


Will you provide lunch or snacks?

Due to the wide range of allergies and dietary needs of our archers, we will not be providing food, but we do have bottled water for all campers. Please prepare a sack lunch for your child. Tables are provided and we will have access to refrigerators and microwaves on the range.

What should my child bring?

Lunch and snacks, hat, sunscreen, water, bow and equipment along with anything else you feel is necessary.
